Inspired by the force to subvert the stereotype of a Vietnamese woman in traditional Áo Dài, I dissected the form-fitting "white, silk, long shirt dress" and added large drapes that highlight a woman's movements rather than restrict them to a degree of elegance and cultural etiquette.

a line up of 12 experimental collages based on myself and brought objects depicting the turmoil of self-depiction to emotional genuinity on the first day back at school.

The utter bliss of one and her skirt. Imagine trying on a skirt in a space of your own, seeing the chiffon so light and airy that it is now intimate to your skin but has also become the breath of your movements. Beautiful glares of sequins embroidered to the hips highlight further femininity and liberation of self.
